Welcome to Kirriemuir Medical Practice

COVID VACCINATION PASSPORTS Please do not contact your GP Practice to ask for a Covid vaccination passport or status certificate – they will not be able to provide any standard document. International certification standards have not yet been agreed. The Scottish Government is working to support the re-opening of international travel once it is safe to do so. We are working with the other UK Nations and with the World Health Organisation to agree on potential future COVID certification requirements for international travel. As part of this, we are developing a technical solution that could allow people to access their Covid vaccination status directly

1ST MARCH 21 - YOU ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A FLUID RESISTANT FACE MASK TO ENTER THE BUILDING AND NOT A FABRIC  FACE COVERING (can be supplied by the Practice)

Changes to our appointment system

Our appointment system aims to allow patients to be seen in a timely manner. Please help us by booking ahead whenever you can.  Appointments for "today" are intended for those who are acutely ill and must be seen "today".

A Doctor will assess all requests to be seen "on the day".  The receptionist will ask you for a contact phone number and, if you are willing to say, a brief description of your problem.  The Doctor will then phone you back and depending on assessment, may offer:

i) Help over the phone

ii) An appointment today with a suitable clinician for your issue

iii) An appointment on another day

We can now remind you about your appointment by text. If you have a mobile phone and would like a text reminder please advise us of your mobile number.

PLEASE ENSURE WE HAVE YOUR UP TO DATE CONTACT DETAILS INCLUDING EMAIL ADDRESS
