circled_dayWe operate an appointments system with appointments available in advance.  You can contact the surgery between 08:00 and 18:00 any working day to book an appointment ahead.  Appointments can be arranged personally or by telephone.

Urgent appointments can normally be arranged on the same day by speaking to the Duty Dr first.

The telephones can be very busy first thing in the morning so, for non-urgent requests, please telephone after 11:00.

Please note that our full-time doctors will often have one day every week when they are Duty Doctor, and one day when they have protected time for administration and training.   Occasionally a Doctor will be absent to attend a course or a meeting.  Please understand that "your" doctor may not always have free appointments on the day you wish to see them.

Evening Surgeries (Extended Hours)

We have evening surgeries every week between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, these surgeries are there to accomodate patients who cannot attend between the working hours of 9am and 5pm. Additionally we sometimes offer appointments from 7am and 8am.

Online Appointments

Appointments can now be booked online  To register for this service please access:- or contact us for further information. AFTER REGISTERING PLEASE COLLECT LETTER WITH INDIVIDUAL PASSWORD AND USERNAME. (NB this must be done before full registration is complete)

"Near Me" Online Consultations

You can now request a video consultation with the Doctor.  Please ask for this when making your appointment.  The receptionist will send you a link along with the date and time of your video appointment.

Telephone Advice

Telephone appointments can also be booked in advance.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. A wide range of services are available by appointment at the surgery Monday – Friday between 08:30 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 18:00.

Continuity of Patient Care

We encourage patients to attend the same doctor throughout the duration of a particular episode of care.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
